Choose your “Hard”

You might have heard this phrase before or a version of it. But basically what life boils down to is choosing do we want to make hard decisions now, or later in life?

When we do things now that are difficult we make life later easier.

For an example: putting clothes away. This takes time and energy but when we spend the time to put it all away we can find them faster later because they all have spots on where they go. Drawers, closet, hangers.. etc.

Likewise, working out is hard. Find time. Making it a priority. Doing the actual workout. Doing these hard things now will make life easier later as in lower insurance, lower medical bills, longer life… or at least that’s the idea anyway.

When we “choose our hard” it makes us question what we really want to do and what our priorities are.

Next time, when you’re faced with a decision – to take action now or later – find out which one would the future you thank you for.
