Get up. And Get Going

I am the worst at getting up in the morning. I would love to get up at 5 am each day and have a 2-3 hour routine before 8am. As a full time employee and dad, it’s just impossible. I try to get up about 6:15 and get my day started. Sometimes it’s 6:30.

When I get up, get myself ready, dressed, and going, I have two boys to get going, too. Then once they are dressed I have to get them into the car and off to the sitters so I can have a 30 minute commute to work, from there, to make it by 8a. It’s a crazy 1.5 hours before I even get to work.

But they key thing is to get up and get going. Sometimes it’s more difficult than others but it’s always a challenge. So I’m writing as a form for energy for myself. Hopefully I can wake up with purpose and growth so I can get my day started and moving. That’s what I need to do. I need to have drive and purpose to start my day.

I hope you do the same. I hope you can wake up a bit earlier with a bit more purpose. I hope you can find inner strength and drive to get up and get going. Don’t let complacency take over. Find your inner hunter and get out and get going.
