Live with Regrets

We might say, “I have no regrets. Everything happens for a reason” which is true. There are also things we wish we would have done sooner, done better, or accomplished.

When we live “without regrets” we actually are denying ourselves the opportunity to do something great. I had a college mentor say that “[he] live[s] without regrets because it’s in the past and [he] can’t change it” to which I agree.

We cannot change the past so why fret over it? We don’t have to fret. We can always change our course and correct as needed.

We don’t have live with the pain that we never did this or that. We can take action and start now. Use that regretful feeling to fuel and power the desire to move forward and try something new. Use that feeling as springboard to rocket yourself to a higher level.

When I started this blog I had no idea where it was going or how it was going to go. I still don’t. I am just taking the action that I should have taken years ago.

I told myself, “I will never have my own business” and “This is who I am and what I am destined to become”. Over the last few months, I have changed my mindset to be something better; to work toward a goal or an opportunity.

I live with the regret of not starting sooner but I also am fulfilling a dream to leave this world better than I found it, not only for my family but also for all of you.

So live with regrets but use it to fuel your fire to ignite your passion and blaze your own trail. You won’t regret it.
